The history of modern alpine skiing begins at the end of the XVIII century, when durable wooden skis appeared in Norway, on which it was possible to descend the slopes of the mountains. At first, ordinary skis with semi-rigid fasteners were used to descend from the mountains, the boot was attached to the skis by means of leather belts and metal brackets. In the 1930s, a metal edging was introduced in Austria, which made the skis more durable and easier to manage.
The Alpine Skiing World Cup is an annual cycle of ski competitions (stages) under the auspices of the FIS, during which the world's strongest skiers in the points system identify the winners in the overall standings and individual ski disciplines among men and women.

I train at the ski school CSKA 5 days a week and take part in Moscow and all - Russian competitions. I have a third adult category, but I would like to become the first adult category. I love skiing very much!
